Sonia Blanchette

Sonia obtained her chartered accountant designation and became a member of Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec in 1992 after completing a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a specialization in accounting (1990) at Université de Sherbrooke. Sonia joined PPG in 1990 and became the firm’s first female partner in 2005. She specializes in assurance and financial reporting.

What drives her

Sonia’s top priority is providing quality service on par with her clients’ expectations, so she is always available and attentive to their needs. She also sits on the internal committee tasked with keeping the firm up to date with accounting standards, improving work methods and tools, training existing staff, and ensuring the work performed is of the highest quality. Her core values of integrity and professionalism help her maintain a healthy balance between family, work, friends, and hobbies. Sonia also loves to get outside and enjoys cycling, hiking, downhill skiing, and snowshoeing.
